この演目は５月に行われるはずだった「札幌公演」の前夜祭の演目として行われる予定でした。

北海道では４月に状況が悪化し、緊急事態宣言が出たことで札幌公演は延期に。

 

また、この演目はCubic zero（５名のバンド）と極北会（９名の舞踏カンパニー）による音楽と舞踏のコラボレーション企画でした。

出演者数が多く、ステージが密な状態になるのは避けられません。

この状況で観客を入れるのはリスクが大きいと判断し、公演を中止にしました。

 

本来であれば、このコラボレーションは実現しませんでした。

ですが、札幌市が芸術団体向けに募集した「さっぽろアートライブ」にこの企画で応募してみたところ、幸運にも採択されることになりました。

 

メンバーの体調管理や毎日の検温、劇場に入退出時の検温、手指消毒、足裏の消毒、うがいなどリハーサルやテスト撮影日の時点からコロナウイルスの対策を徹底しました。

演出的にも演者が一同に会する場面を無くす、客席も使用して演者同士が距離をとる、ステージ以外の場所にもアクティングエリアを分散する、など工夫を重ねました。

 

北海道舞踏フェスティバルの前夜祭という形ではありませんでしたが、北海道舞踏フェスティバルの連携コンテンツとして、配信をさせていただきます。

This show was scheduled to be performed on the eve of the Sapporo Performance, which was to take place in May.

The situation worsened in Hokkaido in April and the state of emergency was declared, so the Sapporo show was postponed.

 

This was a collaboration between Cubic zero (a 5 member band) and the Kyokuboku Kai (a 9 member butoh company).

With the large number of performers, it was inevitable that the stage would be dense.

We decided to cancel the performance because we felt it would be too risky to bring in an audience under these circumstances.

 

This collaboration should not have been possible under normal circumstances.

However, when we applied for the "Sapporo Art Live" project, which the city of Sapporo supported arts organizations, we were fortunate enough to be selected.

 

We took every precaution against coronavirus from the day of rehearsals and test filming, such as taking care of the members' physical condition, taking their temperatures every day, taking their temperatures when they entered and exited the theater, disinfecting their hands, disinfecting their feet and gargling.

In terms of staging, we eliminated the scene where all the performers met together, used the auditorium to keep the performers at a distance from each other, and put the actors in different acting areas outside the stage.

 

Although it was not a pre-festival for the Hokkaido Butoh Festival, it will be distributed in conjunction with the Hokkaido Butoh Festival.
