舞踏家・演出家 1993年、土方巽記念アスベスト館にて舞踏を始める。 1996年、自らの舞踏グループ赤色彗星館を結成。 多数の作品を発表し、その全てに作・演出・出演。 またその間、継続作業として歩行者天国等に於ける実験的路上公演も敢行。 2005年、赤色彗星館を封印。 その後、ソロとして自らの舞踏作品を継続して発表する傍ら、演劇への客演、スチール・映像作品の被写体としても活躍。 ヨーロッパ・ロシア・アジア諸国等の芸術フェスティバルへの参加など、国内外を問わず活動している。 2016年より舞踏メソッドを演劇に応用した演劇身体表現ユニットB機関を主宰。演出も手掛ける。

TEMMETSU

Japanese Butoh artist and Director.

 

TEMMETSU started Butoh in1993 at the Tatsumi-Hijikata memorial Asbestos-studio.

He formed a Butoh group named Sekishoku Suisei Kan (House of Red Comet) in 1996 and produced numerous dance pieces which he himself created,directed and performed. He also showed experimental performances on the street.

After the dance group was dissolved in 2005, he continued to create Butoh works with the theatrical imagination and unique aesthetics.Today,he performs both in Japan and abroad, in places such as Europe Russia Korea and more.

In 2016, he supervised dramatic body expression unit B-kikan which applied the butoh method to a drama. He's also the director.

田仲ハル

 

1983年北方舞踏派全国ツアー参加。

その後20年の休止。2005年再開。

谷川俊太郎をはじめ、多くの作家や音楽家、美術家と共演多数。

2010年、某ビルを乗っ取るパフォーマンスでマスコミに話題になる。

近年では海外からの共演者の来日が相次いぐ。

ポーランドの美大やロシアの国立大の人文学科の研究対象になるなど、活動は舞踏の範疇を越境。

グラフィックデザイナーでもあり、舞踏家。

2017年「札幌国際舞踏フェスティバル」出演。

 

 

Hal Tanaka

 

Hal learned the BUTOH at the Hoppou Butoh-Ha in 1980s.

After he stopped performing Butoh for twenty years, He restarted Butoh in 2005.

He act with Shuntaro Tanikawa, and many musicians and artists.

In 2010, He organize "Squat Building Performance" and It's got into the news.

He was selected as subject of study in University in Poland and Russia.

He is the Northern Butoh dancer.

小島一郎（栗太郎）

 

1952年　兵庫県に生まれる。

1974年　東京にて舞踏の路に入る。7月山形県鶴岡市に移住。

1975年　鶴岡にて「北方舞踏派」結成。その後すべての公演に参加。

1976年　小樽市に新拠点「海猫屋」完成。以後、公演を定期的に行う。

1980年　小樽市に劇場「万象館」完成。小島一郎主演公演「陽車」。

1982年　北方舞踏派より独立。リサイタル「石刑」。

1986年　「古舞族アルタイ」結成。以後、道内外で公演を行う。

1990年　インドネシア・ジャカルタで舞踏ワークショップ。

1994年　兵庫県に帰郷。栗太郎と改名。関西を拠点に公演活動しつつ、フランス公演～台湾公演などを経て現在に至る。

 

 

Ichiro Ojima

 

Born in Hyougo, started Butoh in Tokyo.

Moved to Tsuruoka, Yamagata in 1974.

Start Hoppou Butoh-ha in Tsuruoka, then moved to Otaru in 1976.

He performed all the Hoppou Butoh-ha's stages.

In 1982, he organized Kobuzoku Altai in Otaru.

He back to Hyougo in 1994, now he is based in Kansai and dance around the world.

1988年「古舞族アルタイ」小島一郎に師事

1993年『ごじゃらし』でソロ活動開始。故中川デン、山田昭雄と「HOLLY MOUNTAIN」で活動

1995年『はいばしら』で舞踏グループ公演。故太田ヒロ、故青木崇、鈴木順三郎と「ミニマム・ライン」で活動

1998年　フィリピンの第２のスモーキーマウンテン「パヤタス」で障害を抱えて生まれた子どもの母親たちと出会う。フィリピン、台湾、シカゴの民衆演劇と協同、舞踏ワークショップと公演活動を行う。

2005年　台湾にて「黄蝶南天舞踏団」を結成。『瞬間の王』を発表。台北新荘市にある日本統治時代に作られたハンセン病療養施設「楽生院」の立ち退き取り壊しに反対する運動に参加。納骨堂の大樹下に舞台を作り踊る。70%の居住区が取り壊された後も、楽生院民と死者の尊厳のために唯一「楽生院」での舞踏公演を10年間続ける。

2013年　沖縄に移住。米軍新基地建設反対運動に参加。カヌーによる海上阻止行動に参加、現在に至る。

2014年　中国上海烏鎮「芸術祭」ソロ発表

2015年　核廃棄物貯蔵から30年が経過した、台湾先住民ダウ族が住む蘭嶼島で舞踏行動を開始。

2016年　台湾先住民ダウ族来沖、記録映画『国境辺陲』の上映で蘭嶼島の現状を沖縄に伝える。

2018年『琉球弧舞踏はべる』を結成。（はべるは古語、沖縄の言葉で蝶を意味する）東アジアの海域に眠る死者に呼応し、死者の未来のために踊る。

 

Kanoko Hata

 

She start Butoh dance under Ichiro Ojima in Otaru, Hokkaido. In 2005, she move to Taiwan and organized Kocho Nanten Butoh-dan.

Kocho Nanten Butoh-dan performed Butoh dance in several festivals for 10 years, then she moved to Okinawa, Japan.

In 2018, swhe organized Ryukyu Kobutoh Haberu, and dance for the deceased's and the deceased's future.

上智大学卒業。桑沢デザイン研究所卒業。 2005年より山海塾に舞踏手として参加。 「金柑少年」「とばり」「うむすな」「めぐり」などの主要作品に出演中。 2011年より、街を歩きながらミュージシャンとダンサーによるライブを鑑賞するウォーキング形式のパフォーマンスイベント「LAND FES」を主催。調布市せんがわ劇場主催「JAZZ ART せんがわ」の同時開催イベントとして仙川の街で「LAND FES」を開催し、商店との交渉を重ねながら街全体を舞台に仕立てあげ、劇場と街を繋ぐ企画性が評価され、これまでに2014年～17年にかけて4年連続で開催している。 16年12月には、故・蜷川幸雄氏の意思を引き継いだ、高齢者による世界最大級の群集劇「一万人のゴールドシアター 2016」にてムーヴメント演出を務めるなど多方面で活躍。また、舞踏の価値を広く残し伝えるために、舞踏の体現者である大野慶人氏の動きを最新のデジタルテクノロジーで保存するためのプロジェクト「YOSHITO OHNO ARCHIVES / DIGITAL 3D IN MOTION」を特定非営利活動法人ダンスアーカイヴ構想のメンバーとして発足。

 

 

Dai Matsuoka

Butoh Dancer, LAND FES Director.

 

Graduated Sophia University, the Faculty of Comparative Culture.

Graduated Kuwasawa Design School.

Matsuoka has been a dancer for SANKAIJUKU since 2005.

He has appeared in 7 pieces of Sankaijuku including "Kinkan Shonen", "Kagemi", "Tobari", and "Umusuna".

He has also been directing the performance event "LAND FES" in Tokyo since 2011, where the audience is navigated to encounter live sessions by musicians and dancers taking place at different places in the town .

石井則仁

1984年生まれ、東京都出身。 17歳からストリートダンスを踊り始め、様々なダンスコンテストにて入賞。数々のアーティストのバックダンサーやCM・テーマパークダンサーなどで活躍後、2006年活動場所を舞台空間へ移行。 過去にBABY-Q・大橋可也＆ダンサーズ・辻本知彦・大駱駝艦など様々なDance Companyの国内外の公演に参加する傍ら、蜷川幸雄や宮本亜門の演劇作品にも出演。 2007年よりソロ活動を開始し、現代人の肉体に宿る狂気と普遍性のある美をコンセプトに人間の心理に働きかけ、社会の真理を問う舞台芸術作品を作り続ける。 2013年ソウルインターナショナルコレオグラフィーフェスティバルにて当時の総合準優勝のJury prizeを受賞。その後、韓国・イスラエル・シンガポールなど多くの国で再演をおこなう。 2015年に同フェスティバルにて総合準優勝のSCFアワードを受賞。初の2度受賞という快挙を遂げる。 2010年 コンテンポラリーダンスの殿堂と呼ばれるパリ市立劇場を創作拠点とし、世界45カ国のべ700都市以上で公演をしている舞踏カンパニー山海塾に在籍し、21カ国60都市以上で公演を行う。2013年には国際交流基金賞を受賞。 また、ストリートダンスの身体構造を混ぜたコンテンポラリーダンスや舞踏のワークショップをマレーシア・韓国・シンガポール・ブルガリアなど国内外にて多数おこなう。 ダンサーの活動と並行して2012年にDEVIATE.CO(キュレーションカンパニー)を立ち上げ、多くの企画を実施。近年ではイタリア・スペイン・韓国・アメリカなど、海外のアーティストを招聘し、関東・地方にてダンスシーン向上・一般市民がダンスに触れるプロジェクトを多く展開している。

Norihito Ishii

Choreographer / Butoh Dancer / Artistic Director of DEVIATE.CO

 

Ishii was born in 1984 and raised in Tokyo.

He started his career as a street dancer at the age of 17,winning in various dance contests.

After doing as numerous back dancers, commercials / theme park dancers, etc., he widened his sphere to the stage performance in 2006.

He participated in domestic and international performances of various dance companies such as BABY-Q, Ohashi Kakuya & Dancers, Tsujimoto Tomohiko, DAIRAKUDAKAN etc. and also appeared in Yukio Ninagawa and Amon Miyamoto’s plays.

Has been performing solo and creating the performing art works since 2007, working on the state of minds of the audience with the concept of insane and universal beauty that our bodies possessed by, and asking the truth of our society.

In the Seoul International Choreography Festival 2013 he got the overall second-prize as Jury prize. After that, he reperformed in many countries including Korea, Israel and Singapore. In 2015 he achieved of the SCF Award consecutive victory at the same festival for the first time as an international dancer.

Since 2010 he has been a dancer of Sankaijuku that is well known Butoh company, performing in more than 700 cities of 45 countries, based in the Paris City Theatre where is so called a contemporary dance hall of Hame. In addition to solo performances he has been performing in over 70 cities of 23 countries totally. In 2013 he received the Japan Foundation Award.

Also he has conducted numerous contemporary dance and butoh workshops mixed with the street dance’s body structure at home and abroad, such as in Malaysia, Korea, Singapore and Bulgaria.

Between 2015 and 2017, he participated in Artist in Residence Program named Designare Movement in Korea.

Keeping pace with solo activities he has won many awards in collaboration with various artists from 2008.

In 2012 DEVIATE.CO (curation company) was launched. So far many projects have been taken place. In recent years, he invites international choreographers, for instance, from Italy, Spain, South Korea, USA, Russia, etc. for Improvement of dance scene in not only cities but districts of Japan. These many projects are provided a platform to ordinary citizens for touching dance.

今 貂子　(いまてんこ)

 

舞踏家・振付家。舞踏カンパニー倚羅座 主宰。今貂子舞踏研究所代表。

'80年、舞踏グループ・白虎社の創立に参加。 国内のみならずヨーロッパやアジア、南米の海外フェスティバルに舞踏手として出演。また、衣裳デザイン・製作も手掛ける。 '94年、白虎社解散により独立。'00年、自身のワークショップを母胎に自らカンパニーを結成。 '05年にはヨーロッパツアーを実施し、スペイン・フランス・ドイツの各国で成功を収める。 '07年より、大正期建造の和の劇場である五條會館(旧 五條楽園歌舞練場)において、舞台機構の修復を行いながら新作公演を毎年開催し、'12年'13年と二年連続で文化庁芸術祭に参加。 '10年度には「和の伝統的劇場での舞踏公演を新しい京都の風物詩に！」とのテーマを掲げ、京都府文化ベンチャーコンペティション 京都新聞社賞を受賞。 '15年‐'16年、フォーラム「舞踏という問い」実行委員として、ワークショップ、レクチャーを企画運営。 ’16年KYOTO舞踏館こけら落としより、ソロ作品「秘色」のロングラン公演を続ける。 日本の芸能の源流に見られる「たまふり(命の活性化)の力」に支えられたアバンギャルドな舞踏の探求を通じて独自の境地を開拓し、舞踏に新しい命を吹き込むべく、京都を拠点に精力的な活動を展開している。 近年では舞踏手としての活動のみならず、国内外の後進の指導・育成にあたり、数々の舞踏家やパフォーマーを輩出し、 また、子ども向けお化け屋敷や農村舞台をはじめとするコミュニティアートプロジェクトの開催、美術家・音楽家など異ジャンルアーティストとのコラボレーション、映画「駈込み女と駆出し男」「関ケ原」への出演など、活躍の場を広げている。

Ima Tenko

Butoh Dancer, Choreographer, Butoh Company Kiraza Artistic Director, Director of Ima Tenko Butoh Studio

 

In 1980, Ima Tenko was a founding member of Byakkosha—one of the most acclaimed Butoh groups, performing with distinct recognition both abroad and locally. She also designed and produced costumes for them. With their breakup in 1994, she became an independent dancer.

In 2000, she started her own dance workshops and created the Butoh company Kiraza. In 2005, her company conducted a tour of Europe, performing in Spain, France, and Germany, receiving success and acclaim in each country. Every year since 2007, they have been performing to sold-out houses at the historical Gojo Kaikan Theatre in Kyoto.

In 2012 and 2013, they also were chosen to perform in the National Arts Festival, sponsored by the Agency for Cultural Affairs, Government of Japan. At the Culture Venture Competition in Kyoto 2010, her work was headlined in the Kyoto Newspaper as "In traditional Japanese theatre, Butoh performance brings fresh poetry to Kyoto City!" and was awarded the Kyoto Newspaper Prize. She is a board member of the the “Question of Butoh” forum, producing and giving workshops and lectures in 2015 and 2016.

Since 2016, she is performaing ‘Hisoku’ as long-run show at KYOTO Butoh-kan Through the exploration of the avant-garde form of Butoh, supported by the Shinto practice of Tamafuri, "reinvigorating the soul," a practice seen at the heart of Japanese performing arts, Ima Tenko explores the frontiers of her own art and self. As an inheritor of Butoh, Ima Tenko uses Kyoto as a base to breathe new life and vigor into the form.

Limited not to just performing, in recent years she has been nurturing and coaching the next generation of Butoh dancers, producing many performers from her studio in Kyoto. Her activities are wide-ranging, and she is involved in creating a haunted house for children, additionally creating rural theatre and community-based art projects. She collaborates with with diverse artists and musicians of other genres, and also appeared in the historical film ‘Kakekomi’ and ‘Sekigahara’

髪立ツカサ

 

大学時代に舞踏を知り、神奈川の”とりふね舞踏舎”に入門。

土方巽の直径弟子である三上賀代に師事。

東京にてとりふね舞踏舎の公演にいくつか出演し、大野慶人、玉野黄市などと同舞台を踏む。

2014年、北海道にて田仲ハルに師事。

2016年から金粉ショーグループ２けなし峠”のリーダーとして、各地のイベントに出演。

2016年、初ソロ公演「み　間違い」。

2016年、「北の舞踏21世紀」で雪雄子と共演。

2017年、小川アヤとともにヨーロッパツアー。

2017年、「札幌国際舞踏フェスティバル2017」のオープニングアクトを務める。

雪雄子に「髪立ツカサ」の舞踏名を命名される。

2018年4月、ソロ公演「馬頭卿」。

 

Tsukasa Kamidate

 

She met Butoh io her years Univerat collage, admission to the Torifune Butoh-sha.

Learned Butoh under Kayo Mikami who was deciple of Tatsumi Hijikata.

She performed in Torifune Butoh-sha for sevral times.

From 2014, she learned Butoh under Hal Tanaka in Hokkaido and performed in many stages.

Maruska Ronchi

 

ダンサー、振付家、パフォーマー。

竹之内淳志（元北方舞踏派）により舞踏と出会い、師事するようになる。舞踏に恋に落ち、探求を続け、吉岡由美子、カルロッタ池田、中嶋夏、Imre Thormann、岩名雅記、Minako Seki、蝉丸（山海塾）、Kea Tonetti、Joan Laage、Lobsang、Rizome Leeとの出会いにより発展・深化させてきた。

彼女にとって舞踏は変容する踊りで、個のアイデンティティに深く関わる行為であり、アイデンティティを分解することにより全てのものごとと一体化するかのような感覚になることができるものである。

イタリアを中心に国内外の舞踏フェスティバルなどで作品を発表している。

She met butoh dance under Atsushi Takenouchi, who became her master. She fell in love with butoh, and she continued researching, developing, and deepening her butoh dance, also meeting other dancers, teachers, and choreographers, such as Yumiko Yoshioka, Carlotta Ikeda, Natsu Nakajima, Imre Thormann, Masaki Iwana, Minako Seki, Semimaru (Sankai Yuku), Kea Tonetti, Joan Laage, Lobsang, and Rizome Lee. For her butoh is a transformation dance, a deep work on one’s own identity, until you dissolve it and you can feel part of everything. Like the alchemical process of dissolution and concretion, a reiteration of the work on the body’s form and spirit. A process of transmutation. How to dig inside to connect with the outside. She has presented her butoh performances in different festivals in Italy and abroad, as in En chair et en sons Festival (Benevento, Italy), La voce del Corpo (Osnago, Italy), Soirée Performance (Montréal,Québec ), Espressioni Film Festival (Crema, Italy), Butoh Festival (Pontedera,Italy), Enjoy Your Town (Imola, Italy).

Damiano Fina

 

イタリアを拠点に舞踏手として活動。2004年よりアニミズム、ギリシャの古代儀礼や道元の禅に影響を受けながら身体表現を追及し、2015年にFÜYAという身体メソッドを確立する。平衡と不均衡の間の錯覚や矛盾を探り、Queer Pedagogy（奇妙な教育学）という分野を確立。2018年には書籍「The Dance of Eros and Thanatos for a Queer Pedagogy」を発刊。

北海道舞踏フェスティバルでは新作「Poison Moon」を披露。

 

 

Damiano Fina is a butoh dancer based in Italy. Since 2004, his research has been influenced by Animism, ancient rituals in the Classical Greece and Dogen's Zen. In 2015 he founded FÜYA, a method focused on the body’s presences. His work explores the illusory contradiction between equilibrium and disequilibrium; in this field of research he has been introducing Queer Pedagogy. In 2018 he published the book “The Dance of Eros and Thanatos for a Queer Pedagogy”. At Sapporo Butoh Festival he presents the new performance “Poison Moon”.

永守輝如

 

1977年生まれ。茨城県出身。2008年に舞踏に出会う。大野一雄舞踏研究所で大野慶人に師事して舞踏を学ぶ。舞踏家、俳優として舞台を中心に活動。人形劇に出演してWorld Puppet Carnival 2014、Yunlin International Puppet Festival 2017に参加。2017年にButohactor Creationを旗揚げして永守輝如舞踏公演「をどるいのち」を上演。

 

 

 

Teruyuki Nagamori

was born in 1977 in Ibaraki. He met Butoh in 2008. He trained Butoh under Yoshito Ohno in Kazuo Ohno Dance Studio.

He works as a Butoh dancer and actor. He performed puppetshow in World Puppet Carnival 2014, Yunlin International Puppet Festival 2017. He organaized Butohactor Creation in 2017 and performed Butoh performence “Odoru Inochi”.
